Genesis 4:11

Genesis 4:11

Sin has consequences that reach beyond the person who sins — it affects creation, relationships, and the ability to flourish. The ground that Cain loved to farm now worked against him.

Memory phrase: Sin always brings consequences.

Talk about it: Cain's punishment was connected to the work he loved. What do you think that felt like?

Prayer: God, help me remember that wrong choices have hard results. Help me choose right.
