MY ROCK AND MY REDEEMER - PSALMS DEVOTIONAL
Before a single complaint is raised or an enemy named, the Psalter places before us this elemental choice: two paths, two ends, two destinies. And running through it all, the thread of a God who bends down to notice — who asks of the whole universe, "What is man, that you are mindful of him?" — and answers the question with infinite tenderness.

LOVE STRONG AS DEATH
Imagine a book that begins not with a command or a narrative but with a longing. No preamble, no genealogy, no historical setting. Just a voice: Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth, for your love is better than wine. The Song of Solomon opens with desire — pure, direct, unembarrassed — and in doing so announces that it will not flinch from the full range of what love is. The church has long read this book on two levels simultaneously: as a celebration of the love between a man and a woman, which God designed and called very good; and as an allegory of the love between God and His people, between Christ and the church, between the soul and its Maker. Both readings are true. Both are necessary. The love described here is at once the most human thing in the world and a window into the most divine.

Wings of the Morning
God's perfect timing — He always saves the best for last. Christ does not despise the intellect — He redeems it, disciplines it, and brings it into service of truth. :God designed the soul for rhythm — work and Sabbath, effort and stillness, striving and receiving. Suffering is not a sign of God's absence — it is one of His most advanced classrooms. God builds surprise into outcomes to keep us humble, teachable, and dependent on Him rather than our own abilities. God's presence is inescapable — and His call to action is always more urgent than we are comfortable with. The great spiritual life is not built in dramatic moments alone — it is built in the steady, ordinary, faithful hours.
