Genesis 4:23

Genesis 4:23

Lamech's boast shows how sin grows across generations — what began with Cain's jealousy has become pride in violence. This is a picture of moral decline when people move away from God.

Memory phrase: Sin grows when we stop turning to God.

Talk about it: Lamech boasted about doing wrong instead of feeling sorry. Why is it important to feel sorry when we hurt someone?

Prayer: God, help me never be proud of doing something wrong. Help me always say sorry and turn back to You.
