Genesis 5:2 | DiscipleDeck

Bible Commentary

Genesis 5:2

God named both the man and the woman 'Adam' — showing that they were one in identity and equally blessed. The blessing here points to God's original good intention for humanity.

Memory phrase: God blessed His people.

Talk about it: What does it mean to be blessed by God?

Prayer: God, thank You for blessing me.
