Genesis 5:5

Genesis 5:5

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

The phrase 'and he died' echoes Genesis 3 — the consequence of sin. No matter how long Adam lived, death came. This refrain will repeat through the chapter, making Enoch's exception all the more remarkable.

Memory phrase: Sin brought death.

Talk about it: Why does the chapter keep saying 'and he died'?

Prayer: God, thank You that Jesus beat death.
