Bible Commentary

Genesis 5:14

Again, death. The pattern is unbroken — it will not be broken by long life, by a big family, or by a name that praises God. Something greater than a long life is needed.

Memory phrase: Long life needs God.

Talk about it: What is the only real answer to death?

Prayer: God, thank You for beating death for us.
