Genesis 5:24

This is the theological heart of Genesis 5. Enoch's walk with God was so real and so close that death itself had no final claim on him. God 'took' him — as He would later take Elijah (2 Kings 2). Hebrews 11:5 says Enoch was 'translated' by faith. Walking with God leads somewhere.
