Genesis 6:20 | DiscipleDeck

Bible Commentary

Genesis 6:20

Note the passive voice — 'shall come unto thee.' God would direct the animals to Noah. This underscores that the ark was God's project, not just Noah's. Noah's job was to prepare and receive; God would provide.

Memory phrase: God provides what He promises.

Talk about it: What do you think it was like to have all those animals come walking up to the ark?

Prayer: God, thank You that You provide everything I need. I don't have to do it alone.
