Genesis 7:4

Seven days. God gave a final window — one week — between the warning and the rain. This is grace: time to prepare, time to respond. Forty days and nights is a number associated with testing and completeness throughout Scripture.

Talk about it: If you had seven days to prepare for something very important, what would you do?

Prayer: God, help me to use the time I have wisely — to listen and to get ready.
