Genesis 8:2

The same two sources of the flood — fountains of the deep and windows of heaven (7:11) — are now stopped. What God opens, He also closes. He has total authority over creation, in both directions.

Talk about it: If God has the power to both start and stop the flood, what does that tell you about how powerful He is?

Prayer: God, You control everything. Help me to trust You with the things I cannot control.
