The earth being fully dry took additional time after Noah could first see the ground. God was not in a hurry. The completeness of the new beginning required complete preparation. Good things are worth waiting for.
Memory phrase: God makes sure things are truly ready.
Talk about it: Noah could see dry ground but still had to wait. Why do you think God made him wait even after he could already see it?
Prayer: God, help me to trust that when You are taking time, it is because You are doing something good.
