Genesis 9:2

Genesis 9:2

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

After the fall and the flood, the relationship between humans and animals changed. The harmony of Eden gave way to a more guarded relationship — animals fear humans. This change came because of human sin, not because God originally intended it.

Memory phrase: With authority comes responsibility.

Talk about it: Why do you think animals became afraid of people after the flood?

Prayer: God, help me to treat animals with kindness, because You made them.
