Bible Commentary

Genesis 10:15

Sidon is the great Phoenician port city. The Hittites (from Heth) were one of the great empires of the ancient world. Both trace back to Canaan, Ham's son.

Memory phrase: From one family, greatness spread in every direction.

Talk about it: Have you heard of Sidon or the Hittites in the Bible? They all come from Noah's family!

Prayer: God, thank You for the amazing variety of peoples and cultures You have created. I want to appreciate them all.
