Genesis 11:25

The lifespans are now noticeably shorter than those of the earlier patriarchs — we are approaching the world of the historical patriarchs, and Abram's own lifespan (175 years) will be the longest in this section.

Memory phrase: God prepared the one who would change everything.

Talk about it: One of Terah's sons will be Abraham — the man called 'father of all nations.' Did Nahor know that when he was raising Terah?

Prayer: God, prepare me for whatever great thing You have planned. I want to be ready when the moment comes.
