Genesis 14:13

The escaped messenger arrives at Mamre — Abram's camp — and identifies Abram as 'the Hebrew,' the first time this ethnic term is used in the Bible. Abram's allies Mamre, Eshcol, and Aner are mentioned — they will accompany him on the rescue (v24). The news lands where it can be acted upon.
