Matthew 5:6

Hunger and thirst are urgent, life-or-death cravings. Jesus says people who long for God's righteousness with that same intensity will be completely satisfied — filled by God Himself.

Talk about it: What does it feel like when you are really, really hungry? How could we want to do right that much?

Prayer: God, make me want to do what is right as much as I want my favourite food. Fill me with Your goodness.
