Earthly treasures are temporary — they all decay, break, or get taken. Investing your life in them is investing in things that cannot last.
Memory phrase: Earth's treasures do not last.
Talk about it: What are some things people treasure on earth that don't last forever?
Prayer: God, help me care more about lasting things than earthly things.
