Proverbs 13:16

Prudence — careful, thoughtful action — deals in knowledge. The prudent person does not act impulsively but from what they actually know. The fool, by contrast, 'lays open' their folly — their foolishness is spread out and displayed, like merchandise in a market, for everyone to observe. Wisdom works quietly; folly advertises itself.

Memory phrase: Act with knowledge always.

Talk about it: How do wise actions look different from foolish ones?

Prayer: God, help me act carefully with knowledge.
