Bible Commentary

Proverbs 14:18

What you pursue is what you receive. The simple — those who do not seek wisdom — end up inheriting folly as their portion. But the prudent are crowned, as if royalty, with knowledge. Wisdom is a crown worth seeking.

Memory phrase: Wisdom crowns you well.

Talk about it: What does it mean to be crowned with knowledge?

Prayer: God, let wisdom be my crown.
