Proverbs 14:33

Proverbs 14:33

Wisdom in the wise person is settled, steady, and quiet — it does not need to announce itself. The fool's inner emptiness, by contrast, cannot be hidden: it comes out and becomes obvious to all. True wisdom has a stillness about it.

Memory phrase: Wisdom rests quietly inside.

Talk about it: How can you tell a truly wise person from someone who just talks a lot?

Prayer: God, let true wisdom rest in my heart.
