Proverbs 19:29

Proverbs 19:29

The chapter closes with the certainty of divine justice. Scorners — those who mock wisdom, God, and truth — have judgment already prepared for them. Fools who persist in their folly will face the consequences their choices have earned. God's justice is not passive or delayed indefinitely; it is ready. This is not vindictiveness but righteousness: a holy God cannot leave scorn and foolishness permanently unpunished.

Memory phrase: Foolishness has consequences.

Talk about it: Why is it important to know that God has prepared justice for mockers?

Prayer: God, help me never mock what is good and true.
