Proverbs 21:6

Proverbs 21:6

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

Wealth gained through deception is characterised as 'vanity' — emptiness, like a vapor — tossed around by those who are actually pursuing death. The lying person thinks they are gaining something; they are actually gaining nothing of value and moving toward their own destruction.

Memory phrase: Never gain by lying.

Talk about it: Why is something gained by lying not really worth having?

Prayer: God, help me never gain anything by lying.
