Proverbs 21:11

Proverbs 21:11

Wisdom can be transmitted in two ways: observation of consequences (seeing a mocker punished makes the naive wiser) and direct instruction (the wise person simply receives and grows from teaching). Both are effective, but direct instruction is more efficient. The fool, notably, learns from neither.

Memory phrase: Wise people keep on learning.

Talk about it: What is something you learned by watching someone else's bad choice?

Prayer: God, help me learn from every correction.
