Cold snow at harvest time would have been extraordinarily refreshing in the heat of ancient Near Eastern summers. The faithful messenger — who delivers the message accurately and on time — provides that same relief and refreshment to those who depend on them.
Memory phrase: Be a faithful messenger always.
Talk about it: What makes a messenger truly faithful? What would happen if they changed the message?
Prayer: God, help me be faithful and reliable in everything I am sent to do.
