Proverbs 25:26

Proverbs 25:26

A righteous person who compromises or falls to wicked pressure does not just harm themselves — they corrupt a source that others were depending on. A 'troubled fountain' and 'corrupt spring' are both images of something that should refresh but now harms. Our righteousness is not merely personal — others depend on it.

Memory phrase: Stand firm. Do not give way.

Talk about it: Why does it matter when a good and righteous person gives in and does wrong?

Prayer: God, help me stand firm and not give in to doing wrong.
