Psalms 1:4

Psalms 1:4

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

Chaff is the worthless husk left after wheat is threshed — it has no weight, no root, no staying power. One gust of wind and it is gone. This is a sobering but loving warning: without God's Word, nothing lasts.

Memory phrase: Without God, we are like chaff in the wind.

Talk about it: Have you ever blown on something light and watched it fly away? Why is being like chaff not a good thing?

Prayer: God, I don't want to be empty chaff. Keep me rooted in You so I am not blown away.
