This taunt was spoken at the cross almost word for word (). The mockers didn't realise they were speaking Scripture. God did not rescue Jesus at that moment — not because He had abandoned Him, but because the rescue plan was bigger: to rescue all of us.

Memory phrase: God's rescue plan was bigger than they knew.

Talk about it: Why didn't God rescue Jesus from the cross right then? What was the bigger plan?

Prayer: God, when others mock or doubt, help me remember Your plan is always bigger and wiser than what anyone can see.
