Psalms 22:24

This is the heart of the psalm's turn. The opening felt like God had hidden His face — but He had not. The resurrection proved it. God does not despise suffering; He enters it. He heard Jesus' cry. He hears ours.

Memory phrase: God never hides His face from the one who cries to Him.

Talk about it: The psalm opened with 'why have You forsaken me?' — but this verse says God never hides His face. How can both be true?

Prayer: God, thank You for never turning away from me when I am hurting. You always hear my cry.
