Psalms 139:18

Sand is the Bible's image for something too vast to number (Genesis 22:17). God's thoughts toward us exceed even that. And every morning — after every night of sleep — God is still present, still thinking of us.

Memory phrase: More than sand — God thinks of me!

Talk about it: Have you ever tried to count the grains of sand? God has more thoughts about you than that! How does that feel?

Prayer: Lord, every morning I wake up — You are still there, still thinking of me. What a gift! Good morning, God!
