Job 27:15

Job 27:15

The Pulpit Commentary · Joseph S. Exell and contributors · Public Domain

Those that remain of him shall be buried in death. Not simply "shall die," but shall "be buried," i.e. lost sight of, and forgotten, "in death." And his widows shall not weep (comp. ). The deaths of his offspring shall not be lamented by their widows—a very grievous omission in the eyes of Orientals.
