Genesis 1:28

The blessing on humanity includes a mission — to be fruitful, to fill the earth, and to exercise wise stewardship over creation. This is the Cultural Mandate: humanity is called to care for and cultivate what God has made.

Memory phrase: God blessed us and gave us a job.

Talk about it: What job did God give people to do? Can you help take care of something today?

Prayer: God, thank You for blessing me and for giving me the job of caring for Your world. Help me do it well.
