Genesis 4:8

Genesis 4:8

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

Cain chose not to listen to God's warning. What began as jealousy grew into the world's first act of murder — a tragic picture of what unchecked sin does to relationships and to life.

Memory phrase: Anger that grows leads to terrible things.

Talk about it: Cain's anger kept growing because he did not talk to God. Who can you talk to when you feel very angry?

Prayer: God, I never want my anger to hurt someone I love. Please help me stop anger before it grows.
