Genesis 7:23 | DiscipleDeck

Bible Commentary

Genesis 7:23

The contrast is absolute: everything destroyed, Noah remained. The word 'remained' suggests permanence and security. This is not luck — it is God's faithful protection of the one who trusted Him.

Memory phrase: Noah remained — kept by God.

Talk about it: What is the difference between Noah surviving because he was lucky and Noah being kept alive because God promised to protect him?

Prayer: God, keep me safe in Your hands today and always.
