Genesis 8:9

Genesis 8:9

The dove's return tells Noah the earth is still not ready. But look at Noah's response: he reached out and brought her in gently. He did not grumble or despair. He waited again. This is patient, tender faith.

Memory phrase: Not yet — but that is okay.

Talk about it: When you try something and it does not work yet, how do you feel? What does Noah teach us about those moments?

Prayer: God, when it is not the right time yet, help me to wait with patience and not get discouraged.
