Genesis 9:15

Genesis 9:15

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

God says the rainbow is a reminder to Himself — 'I will remember.' This is not because God forgets, but because the covenant has two parties: God commits Himself to keep looking at the sign of His own promise. His faithfulness is deliberate and constant.

Memory phrase: God looks at the rainbow too.

Talk about it: What does it mean that the rainbow is also for God to remember? What does that tell you about His commitment?

Prayer: God, thank You that You never forget Your promises to me.
