Genesis 9:20 | DiscipleDeck

Bible Commentary

Genesis 9:20

Noah is now a farmer — settling, planting, building. This is the new world beginning in earnest. The vineyard will become the site of a moral failure. Even the greatest heroes of the Bible were human, with real vulnerabilities.

Memory phrase: Even great people face new temptations.

Talk about it: Noah survived the greatest flood in history. How could he still make mistakes?

Prayer: God, help me to stay close to You even in the good, comfortable seasons of life.
