Genesis 9:21

Genesis 9:21

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

Noah's drunkenness is recorded honestly — the Bible does not hide the failures of its heroes. This is both a warning about the dangers of losing self-control and a reminder that even faithful people fail and need grace.

Memory phrase: Even good people can make mistakes.

Talk about it: Why do you think the Bible shows us that even Noah — who walked with God — made mistakes?

Prayer: God, help me to be careful about the things that could take control of me. Help me to stay wise.
