Genesis 11:30

Genesis 11:30

Sarai's barrenness is mentioned immediately after her introduction. This is not accidental — it is the central problem that God's promise will address. The whole covenant hangs on this: how will a barren woman become the 'mother of nations'? Only by miracle.

Memory phrase: Where we are empty, God is about to do a miracle.

Talk about it: Have you ever wanted something very much that you could not have? How did you feel?

Prayer: God, when things seem impossible — when hopes are unfulfilled — help me trust that You are preparing a miracle I cannot yet see.
