Genesis 11:31

The journey toward Canaan begins — but stalls. Terah starts what Abraham will finish. This is a pattern in Scripture: the previous generation begins a journey that the next generation must complete. Are they stopped by grief (the city's name matching their lost son)? By comfort? By age? The text does not say. But the journey is incomplete.

Memory phrase: Sometimes it takes the next generation to complete the journey.

Prayer: God, help me not stop halfway in the journey You have called me to. Give me courage to go all the way.
