Matthew 5:16 | DiscipleDeck

Bible Commentary

Matthew 5:16

The goal of visible goodness is not personal glory but that others will see God through us and praise Him. Our deeds point like arrows beyond ourselves to our Father.

Memory phrase: Let your light shine for God's glory

Talk about it: When you do something kind, how do you think it can help someone learn about God?

Prayer: God, help everything I do today point people toward You. I want my life to bring You glory.
