Matthew 5:19 | DiscipleDeck

Bible Commentary

Matthew 5:19

Jesus places great weight on both practising and teaching God's commands. Greatness in His kingdom is not fame or power but faithful obedience and the encouragement of others to do likewise.

Memory phrase: Obey and teach — be great in God's kingdom

Talk about it: If you learned something really important, would you want to share it with your friends? Why?

Prayer: God, help me obey You and help others to obey You too. I want to be faithful.
