Matthew 5:20

The Pharisees were meticulous about outward rule-keeping but neglected heart transformation. Jesus calls His followers to a deeper, inward righteousness — one that flows from love for God rather than desire for approval.

Memory phrase: True righteousness starts in the heart

Talk about it: What is the difference between doing the right thing because you truly want to and doing it just so people see you?

Prayer: Jesus, I don't want to just look good on the outside. Change my heart to truly love what is right.
