Matthew 8:8 | DiscipleDeck

Bible Commentary

Matthew 8:8

The centurion understood that Jesus' authority did not depend on proximity. A word from Jesus was enough. This is one of the most remarkable expressions of faith in the Gospels.

Memory phrase: Just speak the word only

Talk about it: The centurion believed Jesus could heal without even being there. How strong is your faith?

Prayer: Jesus, help me trust that Your word is enough. I don't need to see everything to believe You.
