Proverbs 13:5

Proverbs 13:5

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

Hatred of lying is a mark of true righteousness — not just avoiding lies when convenient, but genuinely hating them as God does. The wicked person, by contrast, becomes repulsive through their dishonesty and ultimately comes to public shame. Character and reputation are inseparable.

Memory phrase: Righteous people hate lying.

Talk about it: Why does God want us to hate lying?

Prayer: God, give me a heart that hates lying.
