Proverbs 23:8

Proverbs 23:8

Little Bible — for children and parents · Growth Figures · © Growth Figures. All rights reserved.

The consequence of accepting false hospitality is both physical and relational disgust — you will regret having eaten and all the pleasant words exchanged will be exposed as meaningless. The wise person avoids relationships built on pretence.

Memory phrase: False friendship brings regret.

Talk about it: Have you ever done something with someone and later felt it was wrong? What did you learn?

Prayer: God, help me choose honest friends over false ones.
