Proverbs 29:14

Earthly thrones built on injustice eventually fall. But the king who faithfully judges the poor — who does not exploit the vulnerable but gives them the same justice as the powerful — builds a kingdom on the firmest possible foundation. This is ultimately a picture of God's own eternal kingdom, where perfect justice reigns.

Memory phrase: Be fair to the poor.

Talk about it: Why does treating the poor fairly make a kingdom strong?

Prayer: God, help me always be fair to everyone.
