Psalms 22:18

John 19:23-24 records the soldiers casting lots for Jesus' seamless robe, and then specifically notes that this fulfilled Psalm 22:18. The Gospel writer recognised it. The details are extraordinary: a psalm written 1,000 years earlier described soldiers gambling for a dying man's clothes.
