Genesis 13:4

The altar that Abram built in Genesis 12:8 is still standing — and he returns to it. The worship is resumed. Abram's first act on returning to the Promised Land after his Egyptian failure is not to build a new altar but to return to the old one. There is no need to start over — the relationship is being renewed at the original place of commitment.

Prayer: God, when I have wandered, I come back to You. The altar of Your love is always there. I call on Your name again.
