Matthew 8:3

Matthew 8:3

Jesus did not have to touch the leper to heal him. He chose to, showing that He was not repelled by this man's condition. The touch communicated love and dignity before the healing even happened.

Memory phrase: I will; be thou clean

Talk about it: Everyone else avoided lepers, but Jesus touched him. What does that tell you about how Jesus sees people?

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for not being afraid to come close to people who are hurting. Help me be kind like You.
