Matthew 8:4 | DiscipleDeck

Bible Commentary

Matthew 8:4

Jesus respected the Jewish law. The healed man needed to be officially declared clean by a priest so he could return to normal life in the community. Jesus cared about his full restoration.

Memory phrase: Follow the path back home

Talk about it: Why was it important for the healed man to go to the priest?

Prayer: God, help me do things the right way, not just the fast way. Thank You for caring about every part of my life.
